Description

For the production process, a script must be executed to validate the hardware it has installed. Through the same script, many characteristics must be present validate their functionalities.

  • Network.
  • Presence of RTC battery.
  • USB dongle license.
  • Fan control.
  • USB power of the camera ports.
  • Data from cameras (that is no errors)
  • CAN.

Additionally, this script must walk the technician through the whole process.

  • Update the RTC clock.
  • Generate a log in the end.

So far, the following validations are executed:

  1. Make sure that the HUB is connected to a network and it has access to the Internet.
  2. Validate that the RTC module has a battery connected and that said module is also present.
  3. Synchronize the time using a NTP query and update the timezone.
  4. Guides the technician to validate the power of the USB ports is correct and that the current control behaves normally when high current passes through the port.
  5. Validate the USB protocol by querying its speed (it must be 5000M).
  6. Log all the procedures done in the validation process.
